Scuff marks on inside of new CGC slabs

So, how do scuff marks like this pass quality control?... especially on paying express prices. Maybe you pay CGC  to look at it faster and less thorough. These are fairly pronounced scuff marks too and seem to be on the inside of the slab. I am asking CGC about it, but I probably won't like their answer so for now I am just venting. (If this is the incorrect thread then notify the admin, I am not certain)

I have a lot of these. I bought them from other sellers. I never contacted cgc because I don't see them reholdering for free. As the submitter maybe to definitely depending on how much money you spend with them. I never kept tracked but seems like 1 in 5 to 1 in 10 slabs I buy have these. If you just have the one mark you are lucky. I have ones with 4 or 5 of those.

CGC got back to me and I can send them back free shipping and reholdering....but given the wait times for reholdering ..I just dont know. I slept on it and I think I will just live with it. It's not as bad as some others I have seen from previous threads that Lightning 55 suggested viewing

I have a few with scuffs and scratches.

I will eventually re slab them but they are brand new slabs and it would be a waste to re slab them now.

Ill wait 5-10 years for the slabs to age and then re slab to fresh cases.

That's a good point

I just had my first batch with scratches arrive.  They are similar to what you show here, same placement and size, making me wonder if it's the same cause.

I've decided to hold onto them.  I waited so long already that it wouldn't be worth it to me for just one scuff.  If they had multiple scratches on the same case, that would be another story.
