MAJOR NEWS! Pedigree Comics' November 9.6/9.8 West Coast Amazing Spider-Man Auction is underway. The auction began on the night of Monday, November 1st and lasts for nine (9) days until the night of Wednesday, November 10th as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website (www.PedigreeComics.com). The first lot (Amazing Spider-Man #1 4.5) ends at 9:15 PM EST on Wednesday, November 10th and the last lot (X-Men #137 9.6) ends at 11:30. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY book will be listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100 for this auction. The brand new Spider-Man run (called the West Coast Spider-Man Collection) was purchased by pedigree Comics' CEO and President, Doug Schmell, in August, 2021 for the total sum of $510,000. The owner of the collection bought only high grade Amazing Spider-Man issues (up to #150) plus a few key Copper Age issues. He also bought any Silver Age comic he could find in high grade in which Spider-Man makes a cover appearance!

The collection contains over 140 issues between #6 and #150 plus issues 194, 238, 252, 300, 361 and Annuals 2, 3 and 5, as well as almost 15 key issues from other titles with Spidey on the cover and almost every book is in CGC graded 9.6 or higher!! Every issue from #99 up is in 9.8 and most of the early issues are in 9.6 or 9.8! Most of the books have white pages and there are a few pedigree copies in the run (Boston, Northland, Oakland, Suscha News and Twin cities).

All 150 plus issues are featured in the November West Coast Spider-Man Auction and are offered with no reserve amount. There are many great issues and iconic covers in the run and almost every book is the highest certified copy to date. The MCU film was originally supposed to be released in July but it was delayed until November following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus due to the delays in filming. It was subsequently moved to its December release date. In spite of the fact that the movie has suffered from the delays, Spider-Man: No Way Home remains one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

Tom Holland will reprise his role as the MCU’s webslinger and he will be joined by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. But the two Avengers and the Spider-Man cast aren’t the only major names in the mix. Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature a gigantic cast. While previous Spider-Man stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and Marisa Tomei will be reprising their roles, they will also be joined by other stars from the wider MCU as well as stars from previous unrelated Spider-Man movies. Former Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, along with respective love interests Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone, are also rumored to appear in some capacity as well, along with Willem Dafoe and Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox.
