Would a Golden Age DC with a purple label (Slight - P) stating "tear seals to cover, cover cleaned" be eligible for a Conserved label?

Depends on what it was cleaned with.

Would also depend on how the tear was sealed. A CGC Conserved label requires A-1 restoration standards, which precludes any use of glue, tape or non-archival material.

Comic was bought already slabbed (circa 2006 - old label). No way to tell how it was cleaned or how the tears were sealed, though the label did indicate the resto was "Slight - P" which I believe means it was done by a professional.

 

Can a comic be submitted to CGC for examination and consideration of a Conserved label? I am assuming a cover cleaning is not the type of restoration that can be removed.

Like a pre-screen for a Conserved label? I don't think so, but it may be worth asking.
