This is the biggest Canadian show.  Like most big shows they've morphed over the years to include a lot more than just comics.  If you are into Pop culture from movies/actors/writers/trinkets I don't think you'll be disappointed.  If you are only looking to buy cheap comics this isn't the best show as most dealers don't bring the cheaper stuff because table costs are higher so need more $ coming in.  If you are looking for bigger books there will be several in the room from a few dozen H181's to a few AF15s/ASM1 type books.

CGC is only doing a handful of events this year, the only one of ours was Megacon.

I am just getting home from the first full day and it was really good.  Today was about picking up a few cheap books to read and some art to freshen up the house.  Looking forward to heading back tomorrow and then again on Saturday with my girlfriend and our kids.

I love going to this show. It is set up just right... Artists/comics set up on one side of the South complex transitioning to gaming and cosplay on the other side. The North complex has the celebrity signatures and photo ops. This year there were just a few glitches. I should get my pass for the show sometime next week. Tracking says it is in Ohio right now. 

The line today was long............. even after noon. Hopefully people with Saturday only passes got to experience enough of the show. Was the show oversold or were people able to get in with older passes (someone in security mentioned that)? The lines were around the block. Escalators breaking down didn't help with entry, but that is not the show's fault. All of the FXC staff was great though.

Some additional pickups from the last day of the show.  The Hip Hop and comic homages from Beddo Art were definitely my favorites. My kids loved meeting Joseph Quinn and Finn Wolfhard.  They have grown up with Stranger Things as a TV show and it was a big deal for them.  Such a great 4 days.

Yeah I loved the show and enjoyed going as well I did think that this year was busier than previous years I’ve been to.. maybe it was me but it was very busy and packed but fun.. the strangers things stuff was very popular which I enjoy because I watch the show so it was cool to see that.

Spent more time doing the celebrities and autographs stuff this year.. as one of my favourite celebrities was there Kevin Smith Jason Mewes and the clerks cast. I got to meet them all which was amazing I was so happy that I was able to talk to Kevin for a few mins and get a hug.. amazing guy so friendly and great to talk to.. 

of course since I am a fan of one of his other shows I had to ask him if he would bring back Comic Book Men.. he said he would love to but it’s up to the network. As the show was cheap to do and he loved doing it himself as he got to hang out with his friends and chat about stuff.. 

also girlfriend wanted to meet super man and Lois so we got a photo op with them as well which was really cool…

looking forward to next years event!!!

thanks for organizing these events you team really puts on a great show and does their best to make sure everyone enjoys their time at these things.. 

was awesome for the strangers things cast to stay back and do a second panel so everyone who lined up for hours got a chance to see them as I know many were panicking about it as we lined up outside all across the street… but we got to meet them and it was great..
