Ink defect any help or advice would be great? 0

Hey I was hoping I could get some help on this comic(Daredevil #83)... Overall I would grade the comic in 8.5 + range , it's in great condition but in the bottom left hand corner it's got some kind of blue ink defect.

 

I don't know if this is a defect from the factory and if so how much it would affect The grade?

Or if it's not a factory defect and someone accidentally did it and if so I'm wondering how much it would affect the grade?

 

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

That looks like distributor overspray (usually you see it along the top edge instead of the bottom, but maybe this book or that batch of books was upside down at the time the distributor applied the spray).  It should not affect the grade much in the 8.5 range, but perhaps a 0.5 ding downward if it affects it at all.

Yeah, I'm doubting that the over-spray affects grade in this condition.
