Decent copy with several spine ticks and bends, soft corners with creases, and light edge wear including some additional creases. Back cover has some light soiling and a few addtional bends along spine edge, but non-color breaking.

The spine has a lot of wear, including ticks and bends. Top of spine has a small impact ding.
LLC has a bend/crease. Some edge wear and light color rubs toward Nightcrawler’s foot. Slight drops of a residue beneath Beast’s foot - maybe food? I dunno - but reading the X-Men back in the day made a man hungry.
Back cover exhibits more spine wear/ticks/bends. Small tear, open edge, lower down. Some slight residue again at bottom edge area. Book is solid, despite noted flaws.

Looks like 5 light spine bends/ticks, with only one barely breaking color in the center of the book.
All four corners are nice. Probably not 9.8 razor sharp.
Back cover has 3 light NCB bends along the spine (2 toward the bottom). Small ink-transfer dot/drop near bottom edge, toward left corner. Likely improvable, if that’s your thing. LRC slightly soft.

A lot of smaller defects, including a small tear just below the bottom staple, another tiny tear on the open edge (middle) and a small chip out of the LRC. Spine and edges have light wear in the form of slight bends and a few dings. Back cover looks clean, but diagonal bend, ULC and about a 1/4” tear at the bottom of the spine.

Everything is going swimmingly, looking at this copy, *until* you get to the LRC area of the cover, and you say, “Sunnova liquid stain!!” Book presents as an 8.0 to 8.5 copy but for the stain. It is evident through the book and on the back cover, LLC as well. Looks great in the bag & you can read it without damaging it! First Pip!

LLC has a hint of softness/color loss. Very, very light impression to the left of JrJr’s sig.
Back cover nearly flawless. Very light crescent-shaped bend to the right of the young man’s left hand on the chair. Decent shot at a 9.6, but probably not a 9.8

URC has a very small bend. Clean edges overall and excellent gloss. Bright copy.
Back cover has some soiling. Very light edge wear.
Bottom edge, center - has a small bend from a bundle string that pushes into a few interior pages as well. This was not a copy directly impacted by the string. Spine corners exhibit light bending from noted bends on the front cover.
