Wow, X-Men#1 didn't make your top 10 OR honorable mention, but 1st Sandman did?? I don't know how officially any of these polls are, but geez.???

Well X men 1 for sure was an omission. It should be in the slot above Showcase 22 and below TOS39, moving Avengers 1 into honorable purgatory...

I would personally overweight classic covers. That keeps amazing fantasy 15 clearly number one. But I think the X-Men 1 Hulk 1 above the likes of fantastic for 1 and tales of suspense 39. It’s the main reason I don’t like strange Tales 110 or tales to astonish 27. JIM 83 and DD1 Id put in the middle.

if FF5 or ASM 14 had better covers I might put them in there.

I kinda see where you`re coming from. If you have 2 of the big keys on a similar level of importance, then the cover may be a factor to push one over the other. But if your mainly talking importance, I feel the cover wouldn`t be a factor as much. Now, if you want to talk about classic covers, that would be another topic and one I`m sure has been discussed in other topics. I`m definitely a cover guy, in fact that`s a big reason for alot of the books I collect. Has a topic on ranking best covers been discussed recently? If not, let`s get one going. Now that would be one where personal opinion would make it a great topic.

Fantastic Four #1
Amazing Fantasy #15
Incredible Hulk #1
Showcase #4
Tales of Suspense #39
Journey Into Mystery #83
X-Men #1
Strange Tales #110
Tales to Astonish #27
Avengers #4

I get it to each our own but AF15 is never not going to be #1 in the SA. I was asking based on current cost to purchase books that was my intent of this topic.

I didn't see anything in your OP about value.  Just top 10 SA books.  Clearly AF15 is always gonna be #1 in value.

Well, then that takes the fun out of it. Just look in GPA and there's the answer. I say we keep going with everyone's version of facts.

I agree. I mean nothing wrong with keeping up with value, that's pretty easy, but seeing what people personally feel is the most important issues is more interesting. I'm sure, the usual issues will be there for the most part, just like hearing what order or what falls into the "honorable" mention. Unless you come up with issues like 1st Impossible Man. :ohnoez:

Not a single list with Our Army at War 83 or Amazing Adventures 1, what is wrong with the world????

My list would be similar to most but would have OAAW83 and FF5 in the top 10 if it is a personal list. AF15, FF1 and IH1 top 3 for me then the rest.

Hey now — 1st Impossible Man is also 1st Willie Lumpkin! It’s the More Fun 73 of the Silver Age!

So this is the total market?

Meaning the number of graded issues will influence the CGCEMC?

Wouldn't sorting by P be more accurate for this exercise?

Also, how is P derived? The numbers look a little high to be a price per point?

Isn't there a comic book, in the Silver Age, that was touted as "the comic that saved comic books" type of thing?  Wasn't that comic, Showcase #4?  How can any SA comic be more important than that?

No Marvel universe or comic book line without the greatness of Fantastic Four #1.
