Help defining Grader’s Notes Terminology 1 1

I recently received a book that had notes. One of the things mentioned was ‘Canvassing’

 

I do not know what this refers to. Would you mind shedding some light?

Nevermind. I found a post a few years old that discusses this. For anyone that is curious it apparently refers to damage that occurs during a press where the pattern of the Teflon Sheets is imprinted upon the cover or back cover

Yeah, which is why you can't listen to these guys on youtube and FB groups on how to press
