Seriously, about 1/3 of the gift is participating in the actual raffle draw. The fun you get watching people squirm and comment and generally have a blast is far more fun than you will have most any other day of the year online, with the possible exception of the Dale Roberts thread. Then you get something. And some people will get 2 somethings, because sometimes people donate and do not take or someone donates two gifts, one pretty sweet and one kinda jank.  And someone will somehow get left out and someone else will shred their usual board persona and be a hero.
