Vote to split Forum Only Selling Gold/Silver/Bronze to Gold Selling and Silver/Bronze Selling separately. PLEASE VOTE! 2 2

This vote is a request to change the Forum Only Market Place Selling Gold/Silver/Bronze Age Only into two separate market places:

Golden Age Selling Only

and

Silver/Bronze Age Selling Only

The request was made with the proposal that (1) Golden Age is the corner stone of the comic collecting hobby, (2) Golden Age has a clear, agreed upon end point with the introduction of Showcase #4, 1956 and (3) that Silver & Bronze Age do not have a clear, agreed upon beginning point.  Please vote, it matters.

I see no reason to fragment the market place even further.  Right now, we have two- Pre 1985ish and post 1985ish.  They work for me.

I didn't vote yet as I can be convinced we need a GA only marketplace, but right now I'm not.

I'm a dyed in the wool GA guy, and have been for a very long time, although of course I like SA and BA.

I don't see the need to compartmentalize things further. I may not collect much Silver and Bronze but they go better with GA, and it's not like there's a deluge of threads in the GA/SA/BA marketplace that we need to create more sub-forums. It's fairly straightforward to check all the threads of interest on that specific forum in approximately 15 minutes, 2-3 times a day.

Plus so many sellers who sell GA on that forum also sell SA and BA, and vice versa. Selling a PCH book next to a mid 60s FF or HOS 92? That's fine, all three are vintage enough.

I like it when sellers have a list at the top of the thread that details everything they're planning to sell. Now there's a time-saver. Granted sellers change their minds and do spontaneous things, but it's just not that a big deal.

Enough with more sub-forums. The way things are has been that way for ages, and there are less threads in the GA/SA/BA section than there used to be, or at least it seems that way.

Thanks, I will vote. I just think it's more work figuring out which goes where and after looking at the complaints for years,  perhaps there would be less "blank" hurt if people didn't have to figure it out. Plus as someone suggested, more views.

I say split them.  But only if there’s a hard rule on labeling correctly.  And a firm cut off point.  Just pick a year. Doesn’t have to be the 100% agreed year.  So we don’t have an atomic age or EC age battle.  Just pick a year and people post their books accordingly.

I don't have any interest in SA or BA, so I always have to hunt through the forums to look for GA offerings. I voted to split them.

Instead of changing,  I vote getting rid of the newsletter pop up I alway need to close before I can sign into CGC.  Get rid of that.
