CCS Economy Price Change 0

So I have a CCS/CGC 12 book economy tier order that was received in May 2021.  There was a price change reduction that occurred a couple of weeks before that from $40 to $30 per book (you merged the value and economy tiers).

Two questions:

1. Why am I being charged the higher rate just because I filled out the form before the price change?

2. If your policy is that I am stuck paying the higher rate because the service was different when I filled out the form, then what am I getting for my extra $10 per book? Seems like since its December and my books still haven't been pressed, I'm getting absolutely nothing for my extra $$.

Good morning,

Thanks for your message. The price change went into effect on April 28th.  Online submission forms completed before April 28, 2021 had to be delivered to our office by May 28th to qualify for the old pricing.  So, it would depend on when your order was actually delivered that would determine the pricing in this case.  We did state this cut off date on our website here: CGC Announces Updates to Membership Tiers, Services and Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com)

If your order was received before May 28th, please email our customer service department with the order number and your package tracking number and we can have that adjusted for you.  You can reach us at: submissions@cgccomics.com.

Actually, I want to qualify for the NEW pricing. It went from $40 to $30 per book. But I will call on Monday. Thanks.
