THE_BEYONDER
George is by far the nicest artist I’ve ever met. Tons of positive energy when he’s at a show. Really fun to interact with. This is my keepsake from those interactions.... Turnando, Point Five, BigLeagueCHEW and 1 other
ADAMANTIUM
First video footage I had ever seen of him was on comic book men the TV show. Circumstances staged or not, George was genuine. The show takes place after hurricane Sandy, and George did a original art drawing of Wonder Man for one of the Clerks A very positive and refreshing attitude and I enjoyed it a lot. MAY1979
I really like this sequence. I recall reading this was the first time the Golden Age/Earth II Superman was drawn to show he was older than Earth I Supes Edited December 11, 2021 by MAR1979 silverseeker, eastbayrudy and Randall Ries

Popular Post Mercury Man
I know I shared this before, but met George at the Tampa Convention many years ago. I had a small 12 x 18 print of his Avengers Vol 3 cover #19. I asked if he could do a little Ultron head shot, and he said 'It will cost you'. I said no problem, a few seconds later he handed the poster back to me and said 'I lied, don't worry about it'. Class act. eastbayrudy, JJ-4, ADAMANTIUM and 2 others
Ken Aldred
Nice, centralised figure surrounded by the Justice League A very powerful and dark story, and one of the best in Perez’s run on the title. My favourite Perez Batman cover. Edited December 11, 2021 by Ken Aldred silverseeker, MAY1979 and eastbayrudy

Cat
No one else could ever do Crisis. It was his or no one else's. Other times booked NEEDED him. Be it The NTT, The Avengers, whatever, Groege truly is a 'Crisis Operator'.
Muno42
Perez was a few months in when I really started buying Avengers. He was the first artist I could ID by the art alone. Then there was this page.
Popular Post srezvan
I've had a lot of great interactions with George Perez over the years. One of the kindest con guests I've ever talked with. This was Dragon Con 2015. My daughter saw him working on the sketch, so she jumped out of her stroller, grabbed a con flyer and pencil, and started drawing next to him. That's his ability to make every character look distinct in terms of facial appearance and expression, whereas many comic artists have a far more limited range with very similar looking faces and repetitive expressions. Couple that with a mastery of body language and fluid figurework and you have a virtuoso capable of handling, with comparative ease, projects with huge casts of characters in a way that would have defeated many of his contemporaries.
