Why doesn’t CGC recognize 1st appearance….. 2 2

Might be a stupid question so forgive me, but why doesn’t CGC recognize certain 1st appearances? For example Spawn 119 is regarded as the 1st Cameo of Gunslinger Spawn while issue 174 is regarded as the 1st full appearance.

However it’s not indicated on any of the labels? Why is that?

They will if you make the case and have some support….we’ve done it for many CGC labels.

These newbies haven't done anything wrong. Lose this mentality of just because you're a board veteran, you have some kind inherent wisdom about you. You don't. It's a perfectly fair question. 

OP, as others have said, get some evidence and contact CGC and ask that it be added to the issue notes. It's been done for people on the boards quite a few times.

I care so you can remove "no one" from the equation.  I like the Gunslinger Spawn.   I think a reference to the Gunslinger Spawn in Spawn #119 is needed.

All kidding aside, just send CGC an email with the recommendation and a written justification (reference story lines, special appearances, etc..).  If they deem it valid, it will be considered.  They've done this before in the past.  1st app of Harvey Bullock comes to mind.

Having a book slabbed is indeed a status symbol.  The market prices reflect that.  Having the correct attribute information added to a label is just complete and informative.
