Ok so every one has a their own collection or as I like to call it Library.

If someone was to build a Library or collection of Books about Comics but not Comics them selves what would you include.

Obviously Seduction of the Innocent is in there but what other books would you include?

The Gerber photo journal.

Would you consider the Overstreet price guide? Not really a book, but instrumental to the collectible comic market.

Sterenko's history of the comics.

Those are a few that jump to mind....

For books about comics

The Ten Cent Plague is excellent.

"Marvel, The untold story" is good

I always found this book to be a terrific reference and resource.

It runs in an encyclopedia format (topics A-Z with a back index) and covers creators, characters, collections, conventions, etc. - the gamut.

Highly recommended!

Tom DeFalco's 'Creator's On' Series. All 3 of them:Spider-Man, The X-Men, and The Fantastic Four.

Paul Levitz's The Golden Age coffee table book. The massive one with the silver age and whatever other age he did (I can't recall right now if he just went on order or not).
