That phrase has virtually disappeared as per Mike's orders.  Maybe used once or twice a week.  Youre still complaining about a problem that doesnt exist anymore.

I'm not against humor. When I am a substitute teacher, I tell students that 90% of what comes out of my mouth is a joke. And I have posted my share of posts making a humorous comment, or so I thought.

But, in all honesty, this site is, by far, the site I visit the most often, other than Gmail. I have learned a tremendous amount about comics by frequenting this site. I also enjoy the discussions, and it is quite interesting to hear both sides. I enjoy sharing pictures of my new purchases, and I love seeing other people's books, especially if it is a book that is seldom seen.

If you claim to have never seen the type of behavior that @CGC Mike is talking about, then you're not paying attention. There have been several references to the thread about losing $15 on a comic. Here's what I find ironic. The people here that are complaining the most seem to think no one else should be allowed to decide what is off topic. These same people were declaring that arguing about $15 was inane. You don't want someone to determine that a post off topic, but you have no problem with deciding what is important to another person. I'm sorry, fellows, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

If you have an insatiable need to make funny posts, perhaps you could head to your nearest comedy club when they have open mic night. That would be a fine way to get your needs met.

I have to question your reading skills. I'm not the one telling you what to do; @CGC Mike is. I'm just expressing my option, just like you.

I said 'virtually' disappeared.  reading is fundamental.
I was parroting to point out the hypocrisy.  Comprehension is also, fundamental.
If 90% of what you say in class is a joke, I suggest you stick to the lesson plans and instruction.

I generally stick to "threads you have posted in" and the comic art section. And I am liberal with my use of the ignore function. (shrug)

Now show me these threads! :sumo:

It's the Unknown Comics thread. OP bought some books from then, and then saw they were offering the same books in a bundle cheaper than the individual books costs. He wanted to switch and they wouldn't let him. I found it interesting and it was being looked at from both the buyers and sellers point of view. I have no idea what happened overnight but I can certainly quess.
