Package available for pickup

I mailed a shipment of books to you with usps. I wanted it insured so they said I had to do a signature required. USPS now says it is available for pickup at the Sarasota post office in the 34230 zip code. I assume I shouldn’t have done the signature required. Please help. What should I do?

Good morning,

Thanks for your message.  It is fine to send your package signature required. All packages are delivered directly to our office and we can sign for them.  We don't pick up anything directly from the post office.  We were closed on Friday and the weekend so if the carrier tried to deliver something and we were closed, they would then bring it back on the next business day.  

I would recommend checking your tracking number on our website to see if the package shows as delivered.  We have seen in the past that the USPS does not always update their tracking information immediately.  Sometimes a package will have already been delivered but still show as "available for pickup" on the USPS website.  You can check the tracking information on our website here:
