Is this book trimmed? 1 1

This is the 2nd book this year that Ive bought on ebay where I cant tell if a book is trimmed. I dont know if I could detect trimming until I sat with a few examples with a willing dealer to explain.

So heres the book in question MAD 5 (which if not trimmed is a big upgrade) and the link to the original ebay listing

I would appreciate any and all help and opinions.

I would think if it was trimmed all the pages on the edge would line up better.

I guess because the pages on the right side match up pretty well, when splayed out.

And it looks odd to me. I have a lot of EC books and I’ve seen ugly cut books but this one seems a little different.

Off your photos if buying I would feel certain the front cover wasn't trimmed. Not as certain of the back because it's the back and would check it in person but not seeing for sure trim or anything but can't rule it out for certain. Pages are harder via pictures unless great photos and trimmed more recently. But a good eye could spot any color difference where cut. Good touch may feel it. It's not common to trim pages without trimming the cover. You should be good. Trims are usually so bad any non amateur can spot them or so micro and good you nor grading company will be able to tell.

Trimming detection from photos is rarely possible, but I don't think this is trimmed. It is definitely badly miscut, but that's all on EC. This isn't even close to as bad a miscut as exists.

The sharpness of the right edge is sus to me.

I agree, it's hard to tell from the photo.
