I’d say generally the pedigrees add value, but how much depends on luck, the grade, the book, the pedigree.

 

In this case, I could see getting $5 to $20’more

On my Silver and Bronze I personally wont pay any more for a pedigree.  The newer CGC label possibly pay be enticing a folks with heavy wallets to pay extra...? Good marketing by CGC on that one if it works

The example mention of Church is a great one, as i understand it command a rather large % premium.  All Church's are pedigrees but no other pedigree is a Church.

This.  A pedigree is not only a high grade collection but also the story behind the collection and the original collector.  I’d always want to pay a little more or a lot more for a pedigree book because I appreciate the history

It seems that certain folks collect certain pedigrees, too, so there's always a chance you'll run across a "Northland" collector...:wishluck:
