This is the thread to request full set additions to the CGC Registry. (Requests for expansions to existing sets can be made in 2022 "I WANT THIS TO BE ADDED TO A SET" REQUESTS)

Please add your request to this thread. Also, check to make sure that the set does not already exist on the registry (it helps to skim through this thread and make sure another user hasn’t requested it already, too) 

 

Providing certification numbers of CGC Graded books in your request helps ensure accurate data entry, which benefits everyone.  

 

IMPORTANT:

*There must be more than two issues/books in the set or graded by CGC to create a set. As a rule, if there is only one issue graded (even if the issue & variant of the same issue are graded) we will not make the set. We prefer that there be evidence of someone collecting the series rather than just having passion for the one issue. You are welcome to display these books in the custom registry sets until you are able to obtain and grade additional issues. CGC reserves the right to reject a set creation request if it is deemed to be obscure or unpopular among the collecting community. We want the registry and its sets to be inclusive to all members, therefore some sets may be recommended as custom sets instead of competitive. 

*Any request for a "custom" or specialized set that is competitive will need require a detailed list with CGC Certification Numbers.

The complete list of books should be included in the request post. Competitive "Custom" sets are currently limited to Cover Artist complete sets & Mini-series/One-Shots sets for a character/title. Any others should be created using the non-competitive custom set option now available.

Please note: Custom/Specialized Sets expanding across different titles are very time consuming to build. Please be patient.

*Posts that have been edited after the original posting date will now be skipped and not revisited. Meaning, if you add more to your request at a later date, I will not fulfill it. Your request will be ignored and you will need to resubmit your request. In short, don't try to skip others.

Make a new post for your new requests, don't add to the old one.

When the set has been added, I will "LIKE" to your post directly and comment with the date of the set addition. This will allow all collectors to see the progress of the requests.

Hi again,

Please make a set for Star Wars: Starfighter - Crossbones from Dark Horse Comics 2002. There is only 3 issues in the series. #1 has 3 plus the one I just graded. #2 has 4 plus the one I just graded. #3 has 1 plus the one I just graded. These 3 are the ones I just graded and does not show up on the registry total count yet.  Use CGC # 4130842016, 4130842017, 4130842018.

Can you please make a set for Star Wars: Agent of the Empire (Complete). The series has a run called Iron Eclipse with 5 comics and another called Hard Targets with 5 comics. Please use cgc #'s 4130832013, 4130832014, 4130832015, 4130832016, 4130832017, 4012873008.

Hi, Can this set be created?
 

Bishop (1994). A 4 issue limited series. I have the following issues:

Bishop #2 Modern 4135557001
Bishop #3 Modern 3956905001

I do not have 1 or 4 yet, but they are both on the census.  If you check the census for the title “Bishop”, you will see 1-4 and also 8 and 16.  Those last 2 belong in another title “Bishop: The Last X-Man” (1999) which ran from 1-16.  They are not part of the 1994 limited series that I am requesting.

Please make a set for the 1st Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers run by Hamilton Comics in the 90's

The census has 2nd prints but I believe those are incorrect. The 2nd print dates appear to be referencing an entirely different run that was started in June of 1995. This run is not on the census at all. I have provided pictures of the 2 different #1s

Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1994) (Hamilton Comics)

12/15/22

Issues 1-4 have 2 different publish dates.  #1 (1994) has a Second Printing Variant.

Do these books have the same cover?  Take a look at the set and let me know if they are simply Second Printings, or if they are individual issues.

Thank you, but I was hoping for a Star Wars: Agent of the Empire (Complete). Unless you are creating another set for Iron Eclipse?  They both are under the series Agent of the Empire.
