SpidersComics
423rd for the year: Love the Mick Zeck run of Captain America that I've been slowly completing, as an Aussie I never thought I'd cope with what I imagined was going to be corny patriotism of CA but it's a more substantial read than that. Loved Byrne & Stern's 9 issue run and the JDM/Zeck/Beatty stuff is great. This one made me smile; there is this cool little event in the Marvel universe where Doc Oc looses a tentacle - the whole event spans over multiple titles - ASM, Spectacular, Daredevil and now Cap. Very good fun. the whole book put a smile on my face! Edited July 15, 2022 by SpidersComics RayJr, Raze and cgcsketcherz

srezvan
251 comics so far this year. I haven't been posting all my reads up here recently. I'm basically reading the GI Joe TPB series and Berserk manga series, with a few random books sprinkled in. Finish GI Joe Vol 7 (I need Vol 9 - 11 if anyone has them sitting around), Berserk Vol 3, and TMNT Last Ronin HC. GI Joe has some high points, but also some very low points. Berserk is incredible (I'm counting each volume as 3 comics because each book is 200+ pages; I know it doesn't really matter, but I still feel like I'm cheating. Never going to make 1,000 either way). TMNT The Last Ronin was great. Bumped that HC right to the front of the reading list. My 5 year old was kind enough to make me a super cool double sided bookmark, as I enjoy having bookmarks that match what I'm reading. I usually just print a couple of pics from the internet and my wife laminates them. For this bookmark, he asked me how to spell the words. Now I'm questioning if I just wasn't paying attention and missed some letters when spelling for him. Raze and RayJr

cgcsketcherz
86 - 95 First ever bound collection. I know to some a cringe since the books get sacrificed to be bound but price wise I found it for all the issues well below the total value had I had to track them down one at a time. SpidersComics
446th: Iron Fist #10: The later half of the 15 issue series is really good; Claremont & Byrne working together. I like the opening splash- it's 5 years earlier than their iconic X-Men Days of Future Past cover...spotlight, papers, hunter protagonist. Nice to see the theme evolve. 450th: Marvel team up #2: Another cool splash, the pier and heartbroken character being consoled by Nathaniel, a drinker at the local pub...great here...but very funny when they do it again in issue #13 just swap over Torch for a post-Gwen Peter! This series was cut short because the CW canceled the show... Batman 118-124 - I liked Williamson Batman run and would liked to see more. Now its Zadarskys turn. Hulk Future Imperfect 1-2 - I enjoyed reading this classic. Great Perez art! The Punisher 1-5 tpb 1st mini series - Ive wanted to read this for a long time but never wanted to pay for issue 1. Story was good and the art was great! srezvan and RayJr
