Have not had the early defenders for many years so my memory fails me. These particular issues have new cover art, no? In any case this is one beautiful run of cover art Edited January 16, 2022 by NP_Gresham letsgrumble and Tghutcn

Popular Post Readcomix
I’ve got a full run but it’s not all shot. It’s the first sizable run I completed, years ago. Most of the run from #12 up, except for the occasional missed issue that I had to track down, I bought off the newsstands. Here’s the Foom issue dedicated to them, #19. Just trying to add a little something that has not been put in the mix here yet. JazzMan
I am down to 2 comics to complete the Defenders run - Marvel Feature #1 and Defenders 122. The latter issues have been a bit harder to source. ADAMANTIUM
Popular Post LowGradeBronze
The Keith Giffen run from 42 to 54 is a highlight for me. Who knew Klaus Janson could do such fine linework. And #53 with Cockrum/Giffen/Golden pencils &Terry Austin inks is excellent. Unique comic with that combo of artists. Worth seeking out. mysterymachine, Readcomix, comic_memories and 2 others

Popular Post JazzMan
I finally finished my Defenders run with Marvel Feature 1 and Defenders 122 (who knew it was such a hard issue to find) at Wondercon yesterday. I pulled out my new Marvel Feature 1 and lo and behold, it's a double cover - but the outer cover is not attached. Probably since this is square bound and not saddle stitched - no glue applied to the outer cover. Jackpot!
