X-Men 101 Phoenix or X-Men 134 Dark Phoenix? Another Bropper thread 1 1

Why doesn't Dark Phoenix get the love that Phoenix gets? Starting from scratch with my CGC collection I'm thinking Phoenix would be a good place to start. So I'm trying to figure if you were going to spend $1,000 would you go with a 9.0 X-Men 101 or would you shoot for a 9.8 of the X-Men 134? 

 

There's so many options and too little money! I should have started this 15 years ago!

Because she is Phoenix, just corrupted. Also, there is a supply difference due to the X-Men's rise in popularity between the two issues.

101 for sure.

101 is much more iconic IMHO and would go that route. That said, I think there is still room for 134 to grow, especially since I sent it in for the Austin sig series
