Hey everyone,

I’ve eased off on comic collecting over the past few years, but there is something about the hobby that (cue Al Pacino voice) Keeps Pulling Me Back In!

Yesterday, I was cleaning out my basement, and tucked in the very back of a storage closet there was this box:

Not a comic box, so I didn’t pay much attention. But then, pulled it out and Lo and behold, about 200 bronze and copper store stock books (largely VF/NM) that I bought as a collection well over a decade ago. Once I pulled the war, bronze and Tarzan books, I guess I just packed this away and meant to get to it (but instead promptly forgot about it). I remember a few but most of these I had no clue about. It’s like the comic fairy just decided to drop a long box off at my house, just because. A lot of offbeat titles, and I can’t wait to spend some time this weekend giving them a read. And for the record, not for sale... just sharing a happy comic book moment. And the moral is... go check your basement more often. Enjoy!

Excellent find. I had my own Bronze Age re-discovery the other day. Went looking in a bin of misfit toys -- comics I had forever and never got around to boarding/bagging -- because I thought I remembered having a Peacemaker 1st issue. Sure enough, I did, but it was the Modern Comics reprint, not the Charlton original. Oh well...
