Oh, the humanity!

This thread misses a critical point.  It isn't about cutting something sacred up, winning or the unbelievable price paid.

It should be about the horror of what was done and the desecrator responsible being charged with war crimes!

Not something I'd buy but I expect it'll hold its value better than a NFT of a bored ape.  Yes its cut up, probably deserved a purple label, and you can argue that that somehow incentivizes others to do the same (doubt that'll ever happen though), but it has the established provenance of belonging to a kids collection and not being cut up and defiled with some nefarious intent to monetize it.

I'm surprised at how surprised people are.  Is this thing really any less cool and desirable than two uber common copies of Ultimate Fallout 4 in CGC 9.8 that'd cost about the same?

I was in the room with an Action #1 once.

$5 to touch me

Me too.  It was $100 then...:whatthe:

The price to touch Brian sure has dropped. I wonder why?

We have an answer!

After the 'No. 1' thing, I was thinking about that large image piece from the Action #1 cover. (But I wouldn't have guessed that sale was almost five years ago!) Seems safe to say that's worth a *lot* more than $6800 today.

I wonder if the No.1 came from the same comic? How much for the date, do you think?
