I have some books that have been very lonely, sitting in a closet, so I thought I'd put some of them to good use.

I'm going to start off by listing 3 auctions and if the seem to do OK, I will list 3 more every few nights for the next 2 weeks.

 

All funds will go towards helping children and refugees from Ukraine.

 

UNICEFUSA has a button where you can donate directly to Ukraine it has a 3 rating on Charity Navigator but it's a high 3 and a very good rating on Charity Watch.

If you prefer another charity as long as the donation goes to Ukraine and it has a decent rating, it's fine with me I have no preferences. You don't have to use the Charity Navigator or Charity Watch links, I just gave you those to make it easier.

The winner will pay the charity directly. I will ship the books once I see confirmation from you. I will pay U.S. Shipping. If you are out of the U.S., I will pay shipping up to $15, anything over that you would have to pay.

 

For shipping out of the U.S. You will have to Paypal me at least $1.00 so that I can print the postage on PP.(no friends and family please or I can't print out of U.S. Postage.

 

This is for charity, so no returns. You are making a donation.

I'm setting a bin as required for each lot.

 

Each auction will start at $25.00 , you can bid in increments of $1.00 or more.

These first 4 9 auctions will end Monday 3/21 at 11pm EST. You'll have to accept the time on my computer as the end;) I updated this because I added more auctions.

2nd group of 10 lots  ends Sat 3/26 at 8pm EST. 

If you have any questions about grades or need more pictures, just ask. I've counted all the pages and will have general pictures but I'm probably not going to have a ton of scans. I'd like to do a bunch of these this week.

Once the first set is done, I'll add more auctions, probably for the next 10 days or so. Payment is due within 3 days after the 10 day run of auctions is over or when you have decided to stop bidding (please).

 

Just a note, I'm a lot more comfortable grading lower grade books than higher grade ones, so don't hesitate to ask questions I won't be insulted;) ...although I do try to guess lower than higher;)

1. Marvel Comics Presents Weapon X issues 72 and 73, plus Sabertooth 1,

#72 is about 7.5 , 73 is a high grade copy at least 9.2. The Sabretooth is also a very nice copy, with a tine bit of color loss at the bottom edge. Bin is $85  sold to JustJimN

Lot 2. The Sandman issues 1 through 6. Simon and Kirby in #1 and Jack Kirby on the rest.

For those of you who have never ventured away from Marvel, you will feel right at home here. Issue #1 starts off with a creature (doll) who looks suspiciously like a Green “The Thing”, a villain called Dr. Spider who looks a lot like Doc Ock, and a reference to “Clobbering Time” in a later issue.

#1 has overall light creasing and some dirt Gd + (2.5) . #2 has a large corner crease (4.5) 3 and 4 are in the Fine+ range (6.5) 5 is VG and 6 is around Fine (6.0)

Lot 4 The Uncanny X-Men

#149, 151, 152, #149 is about 6.0 (some invisible stains on the back), the 151-152 are in the 8.0 range.

#200, the Trial of Magneto a nice copy with 2 ncb bends lower left a very tough grader (Dr.X) graded that one a 9.0.

282, 283 (first Bishops books) 282 is in the 8.0 range and the 283 is a little better. Bin is $65  Sold to Shadroch for $67.43 Shadroch has put this lot up for auction again:)
