Will CGC revise grades so that Gem Mint is now a 10? 1 1

I noticed that CSG has revised their grading scale so that Gem Mint is now a 10 instead of 9.5 (which becomes Mint+).

When will CGC revise the scale for TCG graded cards?

Hopefully they won’t IMO it seems like more of a need in the sports market? Many people like CGCs scale and they have a lot more pristine 10s out there especially with the Japanese cards. New scale kills pristine 10

It’s really bizarre the inconsistency here. Not sure the thought behind the scale. Official CGC response?
