Roy, are you able to elaborate as to the extent of your engagement in this sale?  What, specifically did you do in order to make this sale happen?

Without going into details, I brokered the deal from the beginning and made it happen.

I like to think that since I am on the same comic board as Roy, that I bought comics from him, that I met him at a show in Boston once, that through the 6th degree of separation theory myself and everyone here played some part in all this.  (of course we didn't, but a fella can dream)  :insane:

Last year was a year like no other in the hobby and I think most people will agree to that. It was a 'coming of age' of sorts for the hobby.

Lots of books changed hands, there were lots of people that moved around in the hobby and it's one for the history books.

And that's all I'll say.

Irrespective of the Supes sale, would you say there’s been a lot of new whales entering comics over the past two years?

I don't think it's a secret that there are lots of new people coming in, but then there always has been. As the dollar values grows so does the type of people noticing them.

That’s a really good non-answer.  You thinking about moving into politics?:baiting:

Go back to Coinland, coinee!

HARSH. I'm allowed to know about other stuff, be glad I only barely touched on stamps. ;-) Anyway, these boards used to be a snap to switch from one such topic to another; the coins section has since been cut adrift and getting smaller in the distance. :)
