Kintsler was an amazing cover artist but not much interior work. Very illustrative and short on storytelling. He found his niche in other mediums, where Matt influenced so many, even at the time. Feldstein told me how he taught him to draw women( they sat next to each other at Iger). 

Note: We just lost James Bama the definitive Doc Savage artist of the sixties. Now there was an artist.

Just saw he's still alive at his Wikipedia, but there is an unverified report of his death.

Kintsler is one of the greatest comic book artists who is rarely spoken of. The amazing thing to point out about Kintsler is that he went on to do incredible work outside of comic books. That’s rare and really says a great deal about how talented he was as an artist. I’m sure Matt Baker could have done the same if he didn’t pass at such a young age.
