I wondered the same thing. I personally love Steve but really hope Este is going to remain at MCS also, she's as friendly and competent as it gets and has done a great job there for so many years now. BS Damutantman
I wonder if this means we'll start seeing bigger books in the weekly/event auctions.

MattTheDuck
"Director" implies an oversight/management role rather than an active one such as seeking out consignments in the field.

shadroch
It sounds like Steve will be tasked with bringing in large consignments. Hopefully stuff that might have ended up elsewhere in Dallas. Perhaps they do it now, but I'm not aware of MCS actively seeking out consignments, they just seem to accept whatever they get in. Sometimes I see a book where they have none in stock, several people have added it to their wish list but MCS isn't buying or taking that book on consignment. As great as their system is, it can still use some improvements. The Lions Den, JJ-4 and Point Five

theCapraAegagrus
So falls the house of CBCS. He's one of the only reasons that I considered them competition to CGC. With the way their customer service is, this move is likely the nail in the coffin. Could be wrong, but that's my perception right now. silverseeker, Gonzimodo and The Lions Den
