One of the hardest Warren magazines to find- especially in grade- with a classic Frazetta cover and incredible stories by Archie Goodwin and a group of comic legends on art.  One of the most desirable comic mags, right up there in the Vampirella #1 or Savage Tales #1 group.  So let’s see everyone’s copies!

I like it a lot.  The art is intact and looks great.  The extra rough spine and corners look cool to me. Exciting Battle and Adventure... indeed.

Beautiful! Am I the only one who thinks signatures on a magazine sized cover are much nicer than those on a regular sized comic?

It’s not a common book, that’s for sure.  I’m surprised it’s the #1 that’s so scarce since I thought it was later issues where the distribution problems happened.

Blazing Combat 1 is also climbing the list of war keys and I expect this special book to end up somewhere in the Overstreet Price Guide’s War Report top 10 of 50 most significant war comics. The fact that it’s a magazine with a Frazetta cover makes it even more unique during a time when the war genre was dominated by DC’s Big 5 and Marvel’s Sgt. Fury comics.
