Wow.  Too lazy to look at the census, but I assume that's the only 9.8?  This is the kind of purchase that I find extremely risky.  Congrats to the seller, that's for sure.

There are 6 9.8's in the census.  The Curator pedigree is legit.  Very nice copies, including an X-Men 1 9.8, Avengers 1 9.4, ASM 1 9.6, etc.

Cool, thanks for the info.  No doubt that the Curator pedigree is impressive.  I don't think that makes this book worth six figures, but of course my opinion doesn't really matter.  With auction results, in theory there's always at least one underbidder who thought the winning bid wasn't too far off from what they were willing to pay.

Awesome list!

You missed the Fantastic Comics 3 Church copy which sold for 243,000 in June 2017.

Also I assume by "Suspense Comics #39 6.5 - $280k Feb 2022 (Clink)" you meant "Suspense Comics #3 6.5 - $280k March 2022". There are also two previous sales of this book on HA for six figures.

Edited the Suspense in the summary list - thanks for the catch.

As for the 2017 sales, etc - I had limited this list to 2019/2020 forward.  Basically a recap of what has happened during this most recent boom.    And I am sure there are some missing from even just this two year period

There are a few books in this CLink auction that are going to get added.  FF #1 7.5 and FF #5 9.4 are both into six figures already.   The Heritage Platinum auction in Sept should also have several (All Star #8 7.0, Captain America #1 5.0.  Batman #1 3.5,  Detective #27 7.0 resorted, x-men #1 9.2, daredevil #1 9.6 might get there, another FF #5 9.4, FF #1 9.0, Hulk 181 9.8 might make it, TMNT #1 9.8, and maybe a few more.)

Now, keep in mind:

A 7.5 WP sold on Heritage for $168,000 4/7/22
A 7.5 OW sold on Heritage for $84,000 6/17/22

Obviously page quality and other things factor in, but that is still an insane amount of volatility.

I been tracking the lower grades FF #1 copies in another thread.    It has been bouncing around for sure.......

New books being added in addition to the list from Clink.....

AF #15 6.5 - $125.8k

FF #1 7,5 - $100k

FF #5 9.4 - $210k - this is was way above the June Heritage sale of $162k.

FF #5 9.0 - $119k

Adding Hulk #1 7.5 at $126k and TOS #39 9.2 at $130k - both from August Clink.    And X-men #1 9.0 at $107.1k.    That X-Men is materially lower than the 9.0 that just sold on Heritage in August for $156k.
