Magazine Bags and Backing Boards
1 1

I'm trying to find magazine bags and backing boards for Marvel magazines. I found one's measuring 8 7/8 X 11 1/8, but those are too wide. The magazines I have measures 8 1/4 X 10 7/8. I know they make them because some of the Marvel magazines I ordered came with a bag (8 3/4 X 11) and backing board (8 1/2 X 11).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you're quibbling over 1/8"?

I embrace 1/8" difference.

The problem is that I can't find the bag and backing board in the size which arrived with the magazine (8 1/4 width). The only thing I find is over 8 7/8, thus a little over 1/2 wider. So my question is: Can someone please direct me a bag/board combo that's 8 3/4 wide?

I use Gerber Magazine Mylites and boards and they are perfect for me but good luck finding some, they are like rocking horse poop.

And expensive, too.

Yeah! And I would have to pay double that to get them shipped to the UK.

I have some news to report of interest to those who are fans of Gerber Full-Backs. I was shocked when I picked up a pack and saw a brown backside on the boards. This is how they are being produced now with apparent shortages of recycled white paper.

Easily identified by the new Overstreet tag at the top right.

Interesting. As long as they are buffered throughout. I guess it’s just a visual thing. What was the price increase? I’m assuming there was one.

I just picked up a large order and asked this same question. They assured me that they are buffered/acid free on both sides but there was a shortage of white paper hence the reason for the brown side of the board.
