Does anyone know what this is from? 2 2

My dad found this page in a portfolio that had gone missing for years. He remembered that it was a gift, but can’t remember what it was from, or the artist. Does it ring a bell for anyone? I thought it looks a bit like Death in the last panel, but was unsure. If it’s a super obvious series, I’ll take my lumps, and wear my paper bag with pride! Thanks, all.

I don't know the comic, but I know the signature is Jason Shawn Alexander, so hopefully that helps you.

That helps a great deal. Thank you! They were friends with him years ago, so he must have gifted it to them.
