Impact 1 The first New Direction EC title after the Comics Code destroyed the New Trend Line of horror and crime books. But still defiant, Bill Gaines still wouldn't submit his books to the Code(he later gave in). This book has arguably the best EC story, "Master Race" by Al Feldstein and illustrated by Bernard Krigstein. An explosive story that has inspired many other creators, Including Art Spiegelman's Maus. Cover miscut. 4.5 300.00
