 Well I don't know too much about Nova but I do enjoy collecting the keys. I bought this one for $100 without seeing it in person. I think I did alright but wanted to know what you guys think a fair price was.

you did well

Nova 1 in about a 7.0 goes for about $150 or so slabbed

Which of course, is entirely ridiculous :peace:

IMHO: if no color touch you paid  market value for the book in that condition.  If is a color touch then i feel you  overpaid. If you are an honest person you will have issues reselling it with that disclosed.  Its more than worth the amount spent as a learning experience.

What are you guys talking about color touch up? What specific pictures do you need to see?

Well I know from experience that coloring, especially crayon, on a comic doesnt necessarily mean a purple label either. If it is covering up a flaw in the book, it is considered "restoration", and I assume they mean on the front in the black area on the left side of the page.

It could be the inks, but the "tone of the black color" is uneven, I assume that's what they're speaking of :cheers:

Is there something going on here?  Looks like black marker AAC28DEE-EAED-4A67-870C-1098388FF3CA.jpeg.9ec3af59d049763c7c1134744ce2b3b0.jpeg

Look at the same spot that's circled by Beyonder, but on the inside front cover. :)

@KCode98

We tend to be extra cautious about possible restoration when discussing grading. Your copy seems fine.

If this copy grades 7.0 or better, you got a deal. If it grades less than 7.0, you probably paid about market

I thought you guys just got into the liquor cabinet early today! :shiftyeyes:
