So what was the last Silver Age FF? It seems like you want to skip Bronze and go straight from Silver to Copper.

I use 116 as the end of Silver, but you use 117 as the end of bronze?

117 is the beginning of Bronze, ends 231.

Silver Age 1-116
Bronze Age 117-231
Copper Age 232-349
Modern 350-up

Well, as expected, results are all over the place. Last 70s issue has a slight edge over last pre-Byrne issue. And there are an equal number of other choices.

It’s a really tough question given how FF has in one way been a constant throughout the Bronze and into early Copper. I like to think that Byrne bringing back the classic Kirbyesque FF of the Silver Age is in and of itself a celebration of that greatest era. This is what separates the FF of the 80s from the Bronze Age era run that briefly started with Kirby who later came back near the end of the 70s.

I always thought the bronze age starts with the 15c cover price.

A single book to kick off the bronze age I've always heard Green lantern 76

Some people use the .price increase from 12 cents as the defining point.  I personally use the one month 25 cent giants as the end of an era, but in the end it is just book keeping.
