I recently purchased an original owner collection from a White House correspondent that was purchased between 1963-1970. Probably around 2,000 books or so, mostly DC and Marvel. No HUGE keys but some nice major issues, usually in the low to mid-grade range. I had some of the better ones CGC'd and will be offering them first.

Shipping Costs/Method: For single or combined purchases over $1,000.00 domestic shipping via USPS Priority Mail is FREE. Otherwise it is $8.00 for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (raw books) or $18.00 for USPS Priority Rate Flat Rate Medium Box (CGC books). If you want another method to be used, actual shipping costs will be charged. International is actual cost to be assessed but $50.00 upfront (any excess will be refunded). Over $4,000.00 is free for international buyers. Multiple orders can be combined. Insurance and delivery confirmation is included. Other shipping methods available upon request.

My Return Policy: I certainly believe you will be happy with your purchase. For raw books, I do my best to objectively grade every book and provide you with detailed descriptions. I have been collecting comics for almost 50 years and I have served as an Advisor to the Overstreet Comic Book & Pricing Guides  since 2006.

However, your personal satisfaction is very important to me. If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, you may do so. However, you must notify me in writing within three (3) calendar days of receiving the book that you desire to return it, and you must ship it back to me within seven (7) calendar days. All associated costs for returning the book must be borne by the purchaser. And, of course, the book must be returned in the same condition it was received.

This return policy applies to CGC books as well.

Payment Plans: For purchases over $1,000, payment plans can be available so long as full payment will be received within 3 months. A non-refundable 1/3 deposit minimum will be required.

Counter-Offers: Don't hesitate to make a counter-offer via PM, especially for multiple books. But first  for each book always takes it. I will follow-up via PM.

1st App & Origin of Doom Patrol

Very few recent GPA sales in this grade range. The most recent was in May 2021 when a copy sold for $228.00. But it appears from other sales this book is on the rise. A CGC 2.5 sold in April 2022 for $335.00, and a CGC 3.0 copy sold January 2022 for $549.

Lots of sales movement on this book all over the place.

There have been four GPA Sales in 2022 over $1,000.00 (high of $1,200.00), and there were nine sales over $1,000.00 in 2021 (high of $1,416.00).

A lot of range on the sales for this issue as well. There have been thirteen sales in 2022 with the high of $1,300.00. GPA recorded thirty-two sales in 2021 with a high of $1,545.00 (and half of the sales were $1,000.00 or more).

There have been eight GPA recorded sales in 2022 with a high of $1,300.00 (six of the eight sales are $1,000.00 or more). In 2021, a copy reached $1,635.00 (with five sales at $1,500 or more).

Four GPA recorded copies sold this year with three of the four higher than $320.00. A copy sold in April for $397.00.

2022 has seen seventeen recorded GPA sales with a high of $781.00 (and eleven of them were over $500.00). Copies were selling in the $700.00 - $800.00 range starting in Fall 2021.

The past year has been a big year for this character and sales showed it. In 2021, GPA recorded a high of $1,700.00 (and five sales over $1,300.00). It has dropped slightly in 2022 to a high of $1,399.00 but there have been only three recorded sales.
