Raynaldo Rusi
I recently found this Swamp Thing #50 in perfect condition, and was excited to add it to my collection… Later upon further inspection, I noticed it felt a bit lighter than the average comic book. I opened the book to find out it was missing the middle pages! despite its seemingly NM condition, it became evident that the missing pages must have fallen out due to a mis-stapling defect by the manufacturer. (My speculation) Further, I don’t believe this to be a restoration of any sort, due to no indication that this book was ever stapled on the spine. has anyone here ever encountered such a defect? Some one please help me understand…
steveinthecity
Manufacturing error. Not completely unheard of in times past.
Lightning55
Yeah, looks like the staples misfired into the face of the cover. Since they weren't attached, the pages fell out along the way. I'm not sure what you can do with that. It's certainly not a complete comic. I am trying to think of a way it could be worth more than $0, but I can't come up with a single scenario. theCapraAegagrus
It's uncommon, but not unheard of. Absolutely odd staple placement. The Lions Den

If complete, I would absolutely consider buying it. However 😢 Edited August 10, 2022 by KirbyTown
