Yeps.
“Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a 9.0 outta my hat!”

It’s amazing how he does it. I’m waiting for him to show us his time machine!

which led me to grab this a few minutes ago.   my fave kirby image of the hulk--if i think of the character, here is how my mind's eye sees him.   a very hard book to get in grade in my experience, and i'll just have to get by the c/ow.   it sure does square-up nicely---or rectangle-up, as the case may be.  this was the 2nd tta i grabbed off a spinner as a kid; i can still recall thinking "WOW" when I saw giant-man and the little [comparatively] green guy fighting on the cover of 59.   i read it to death.

tos 59 next i reckon.

Billy, you have a beauty there! Also my favorite rendition of Kirby’s Hulk. I love how Jack drew Giant-Man and Wasp too. Might also be my favorite 2 panel Marvel SA cover. The covers on TTA 59 and 60 made them must haves for me.

my 21 yr. old would say "dad, you're such a try-hard," but here's the first "battlefield" raiders!

Looks like a whole different character from the guy pictured on #1.  I guess he shaved the beard and swapped out his hat for a helmet at some point?

EDIT:  I just looked at the cover gallery and it seems like he switched to the new look starting with #8.  By my estimation he dropped 20 years and 50 pounds too.

Given the pedigree you would know, right?

Unless the western penn collection had two or more copies. I may have the old scan of it laying around somewhere.
