Aarrow108
(Advertising with permission on behalf of the event organizer)ATTENTION ALL SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COMIC COLLECTORS: The latest and greatest local comic book BUY / SELL / TRADE event (and last one for the year 2022)!Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the third installment of Near Mint Sundays! An expected 40+ comic vendors with free admission and free parking! What's that mean for you? MORE MONEY FOR COMIC BOOKS! NMS is focusing on strictly comic books from all eras, both graded and ungraded! Great Mix of dealers and private collectors bringing affordable back issues and high-end keys. The last two events were a huge success, and the third one is on track to be even BIGGER and BETTER. Happy to announce the following changes for the third show: 1) EXTENDED HOURS! Event organizers heard everyone in regards to there not being enough time to dig through everything. Therefore, show hours have been extended from 10:00am to 5:00pm! 2) BIGGER VENDOR SPACES! More space is being allotted to each vendor, which should hopefully make the comic hunting experience for attendees feel little less crowded! 3) BIGGER OVERALL SHOW AREA! There will now be vendors set-up on the outdoor patio, which should also hopefully improve the comic hunting experiences for attendees!Sunday, November 13, 202210:00am - 5:00pmBrookhurst Community Center2271 W Crescent AveAnaheim, CA 92801For more info, please visit the following websites:Near Mint Sundays on InstagramNear Mint Sunday Official Website (Includes Vendor Information) Edited September 16, 2022 by Aarrow108 Pictures LDarkseid1

I’ve set up at the first two shows and it just continues to get even better! Both in terms of number of attendees/vendors and overall quality of books/deals. Aside from myself, a few other CGC board members have attended and provided some feedback/pictures in the thread for the last show. Check it out! Love to hear that I'm confident in saying there's something for every type of comic collector here-- all eras (some more than others of course, all publishers (alot of rare independent books pop-up!), and all budgets. Plenty of deals/dollar boxes to dig through, and plenty of big time keys to admire! LDarkseid1
Aarrow108
For any locals planning to attend NMS on 11/13/22, there is also going to be a smaller pop-up show this weekend on Sunday 10/9/22. First 100 people to show up at the pop-up will get early access to the NMS show on 11/13/22! As collectors, I think we can all agree that early access to the show floor is super helpful when hunting for books/deals! This pop-up will be much more laid back/scaled down, and the goal is to generate more hype for the NMS show in November. Hope to see some of you there! Aarrow108
Slightly more than a week away! Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces. This will actually be the last one I’m setting up at as a vendor for some time, but I will definitely be a regular attendee!
LDarkseid1
So was a solid convention. Lots of amazing comics and dealers. Couldn’t find a damn thing I was personally looking for haha, but great con to check out the books. Aarrow108

Though I know Golden Age books are usually scarce (more so at yesterday’s show). Hope you have better luck at the next show! (I believe I heard sometime in March, but not set in stone yet). Thanks for stopping by either way!

Thanks for stopping by either way! Yeah I’m a big Strange Adventures collector, and that’s just a super super tough series to come by. People don’t have copies of it, especially the golden and early silver part of the run. Or high grade copies of any of the Deadman issues. But I always try to look! jimjum12 and Aarrow108
Robot Man
I went too. As, last time very little GA stuff for me. But it was local and a great way to spend a couple hours. Sadly, Brad from F-VF and King & Queen comics wern’t there. But Dan from The Comic Cellar had some unusual books for me. And there is always one guy that has a couple boxes of cheap old weird books. There was a lot of cool books in the room nevertheless. This show has grown a bit having added a bunch of new dealers in the patio. I had thought of setting up but Terry O’Neil decided to bring his show back in Feb. I figured I would do a lot better there. All in all, glad I got out and went. Hope to be at the next one.
