Hello, fellow collectors!!! (worship)

First one to post a sales thread in this forum!!!  Woo hoo!!!

This is a sales thread for comic-related non-sport trading cards, mostly DC and Marvel, with some odds and ends thrown in.  I also have common card sets, as well as extras, but I will only list sets that I want to sell.  If anyone is looking for extra commons from a particular set, please PM me. (thumbsu

I don't have trading cards graded by anyone, and I'm no expert.  I'm much better with comic books, but I've given it the old college try with card grades.  The conditions of the cards are estimates only, but feel free to message me with any questions or concerns in regards to listings.  I use the current edition of Becket Non-Sport Almanac in order to estimate pricing, as well as eBay.

Rules, rules, so many rules!!!

No HOSers, no probies, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Method of payment is personal/cashiers check, money order, PayPal.  Paper payment is preferred, but I will accept PayPal until I can close my account with them for good.

Shipping for high value cards include a penny sleeve and a card top loader.  I will use card binder pages to ship multiple cards instead of top loaders.  Using these will allow me to keep them flat between thick pieces of cardboard for extra protection.  Any questions or concerns, please let me know. (worship)

I will ship individual cards in their penny sleeve and top loader in a bubble envelope (or similar) for a nominal fee.  Shipping them via Media Mail is technically not an option, since they aren't books.  Items will most likely ship via Parcel Select.  If more than one card is to be shipped, or a whole set, I will ship Priority with the buyer paying a portion of the cost.

I only ship to the 50 United States.  Sorry, no international shipping.

No returns on products, unless they were damaged in transit.  PM me pictures of the damage and we'll work together to find a solution.

I will entertain reasonable offers, so please PM me.  First :takeit:in the thread ONLY is the winnah, even if PM negotiations are in progress!!!

If someone would like any other scans taken of a particular item, please let me know.  I'm more than happy to oblige.  (worship)

If you see an error with a listing, i.e. false/missing information, bad scans/photos, etc., please let me know so that I may correct it.  I'm open-minded when it comes to feedback and criticism, but please keep it civil.

I will continue to update posts and/or listings in order to fine tune the thread.  If I missed something, again, please feel free to PM me.  Thanks for visiting!!!

Let's start off with some tall chase cards from a few sets I collected.  I will list the sets later one, if they are complete. (thumbsu

All tall chase cards will be in a penny sleeve and tall card top loader for shipping.

All individual card listings will have shipping included in the price.  Again, offers are welcome, even if the listing doesn't say 'or best offer'. :foryou:

Certain cards won't scan well because of the material or the image, i.e. holograms, foil, etc.  With these, I will take photos.

Feel free to PM me any requests.  I had some mild success in my previous thread, so some cards and/or sets are no longer available.

There is very light blunting of the lower right corner, reverse side.  There is also a small nick in the material near the top of the front.  The edges look much better than the previous listing.

SkyBox 1994 Superman: The Man of Steel Platinum Series Collector's Edition, Spectra Etch trading card.  This card is #S1, Immovable Object.

The front of the card looks great, but the edges on the back show some minor dings/wear.  This could be from the production cut...or me.  Hard to say for sure.

NrMint, or less

SkyBox 1994 Superman: The Man of Steel Platinum Series Collector's Edition, Spectra Etch trading card.  This card is #S3, Impenetrable!

The card shows a few spots of very light wear on the edges.  The back cover shows a scratch, I think, near the top.  It looks like it could almost be some left over 'material' from the front when the card was produced.

NrMint, or less.

SkyBox 1994 Superman: The Man of Steel Platinum Series Collector's Edition, Spectra Etch trading card.  This card is #S4, Meltdown.

There is a ding at the top of the front, as well as some light edge wear at the top of the back.  There is another scratch on the back...it almost looks like the card material from the front.

SkyBox 1994 Superman: The Man of Steel Platinum Series Collector's Edition, Spectra Etch trading card.  This card is #S6, Earth's Champion.

This card is probably the best of all the spectra etch cards, with just a bit of very light wear on the bottom edge of the back, as well as a small ding on the left edge.  The top left corner of the back shows some of that glittery material as seen on the front.  It's not a scratch though.

Below is the listing for the rest of the Man of Steel set that the above chase cards belong too.  Because I didn't get all the chase cards for the entire set, I've reduced the price of the common card set. (thumbsu

SkyBox 1994 Superman: The Man of Steel Platinum Series Collector's Edition.  The set contains all 90 common cards and checklist, as well as all 90 premium cards and checklist.  The premium cards are embossed/foil-enhanced.  The exclusive Superman: MOS Platinum Series binder is also included in this listing.

I prefer to sell these cards as a set, which includes the binder and UltraPro binder pages.  I really don't want to break up this entire package...I don't have any extra cards either.

I can provide other pictures if requested.  I only included pictures of the first page for each card set, as well as both checklists.  I didn't want to include dozens of pics of each page, or card, so feel free to message me if you'd like to see more.  These cards have not been removed from the pages, or the binder they are in, since 1994/1995. :)

The binder is in great shape.  I believe the cards to be in NrMint condition, or better.  I'm conservative in my estimate because I didn't want to remove each card to look at their condition without risking damage. doh!

This item will be shipped Flat Rate Priority Mail.  Please PM me with any questions or reasonable offers. (worship)

$125 (both card sets, binder, UltraPro pages)

1993 The Sandman: Dwellers in the Dreaming-Matthew, The Raven promo card #CI-2.  This is a premium, over-sized card.  It will be in a penny sleeve and top loader of the same size. (thumbsu

I don't see much wrong with this card, so I'll give it a NrMint grade estimate, if not better.

Fleer/SkyBox 1997 Batman and Robin, Celluloid Action card.  This card is #C-3, featuring Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman).

There is some obvious dings/wear on the top, front of the card.  This is a thick card, folded over to protect the celluloid frame inside, so I'm not surprised there's some issues there.  The celluloid frame is in excellent condition.

The top of the card is thicker than usual, so I had to put the card and penny sleeve into the top loader upside down...so to speak.

The above celluloid chase card listing is the only one I have from the Batman & Robin Movie card set.  Buying these cards wasn't my proudest purchasing moment, but when you're single in your mid 20's and making a decent military paycheck...well, 'nuff said. lol

I have the complete common card set, along with other chase sets (incomplete) that I will get to soon.  I need to get pictures and/or scans put together so that I can list them.

I hope you've enjoyed the thread so far!!!  Thanks for visiting!!! (worship)

Okay, the 1997 SkyBox Batman and Robin widevision trading card set is tricky to list.  I have a complete set of the common cards, an incomplete set of the profile and storyboard cards, none of the autograph cards (those are worth some money), and two complete sets of the mini-posters (they have never been unfolded).  Of course, you can see the only celluloid action card that I have listed above.  I also have plenty of extra cards, but not enough for a second set of anything.  I don't have extra mini-posters.

Check out the links below that show all the cards involved with this set (the ones I have anyway).  I know it puts work on potential buyers to look at all those cards, but I won't list my cards individually....way too much work and too many cards.  I will try and include photos/scans of what I have (in groups), except for the posters.  I prefer NOT to unfold those in order to take pictures, but I will if there are serious requests to do so.  I don't want to risk any damage/tears to the posters.

All of the initial card sets, complete or otherwise, are stored in Ultra Pro card sleeves...which I will ship with the cards inside (posters too).  The cards have been in these sleeves since 1997, I think.  They've been stored like this for years.

The extras I have are loose because I ran out of Ultra Pro binder pages.

I don't have a binder for all these cards.  You'll have to provide your own.

Feel free to check out the links below, if you wish.  The first listing will be for the complete common card set, and any related extras that go with it. (thumbsu

1997 SkyBox Batman and Robin Movie trading cards (widevision).  This is the complete common card set, featuring a mix of 70 landscape and portrait trading cards...wide-vision style.  Also available are a number of extra commons, but not a complete set.

Each Ultra Pro page holds six of these 'tall' cards, so if individual cards are purchased, I will ship them in an extra page, not a penny sleeve and top loader (unless it's one or two).

Since these cards have never been out of the Ultra Pro pages, I'm estimating their grade to be NrMint...possibly better.

I know these photos aren't the best, but decent scans aren't possible for each page.  Any questions at all, don't hesitate to message me.(worship)

:news:

I was able to get some proper scans of some of these cards.  Not the whole set, but enough so that you get the picture...so to speak.  If anyone is interested in more scans, please PM me and I'll send them to you. (thumbsu

1997 SkyBox Batman and Robin Movie trading cards (widevision).  This is an incomplete set of the Profile chase cards, which normally totals 12 cards.  I do have a few extra of some, or all, of these cards.  The card in the lower right corner of the sleeve page is a story board card, which I will list next.

Again, these cards have been in the pages a long time.  I give them an estimate of NrMint, maybe better.

Since there aren't enough cards to fill two Pro pages, I will ship this individually in a penny sleeve and top loader. (thumbsu

Last, but not least.....

1997 SkyBox Batman and Robin Movie trading cards (widevision).  This is a listing for two complete sets of the mini-posters, which totals five posters.  I don't have extra posters.

Because these posters are still folded up, as they were in the card packs, I don't have actual photos.  I've included photos of them from the Trading Card Database website.  They show ink-breakage on them, to one degree or another.  I would like to think mine don't look as bad, because they've stayed folded all these years.

There isn't a grade estimate for these...they're posters.  But, if someone is serious about buying one or more, and would like photos/scans, PM me and we'll discuss it.  Again, I have two complete sets of these posters.  I would prefer to keep one set complete, therefore I will sell individual posters from the other set.  Message me first. (thumbsu

That is the end of the Batman and Robin movie trading card set...thank God. lol

Since I started out with that set, I'm going to continue listing cards and/or sets from other Batman movie trading cards that I purchased.

Next up will be individual cards from Batman: The Movie from 1989.  I didn't collect the whole set...only about a dozen, maybe less. (thumbsu

Thanks again for stopping by!!! (worship)
