Everyone loves covers, those bright and eye-popping pieces of paper which lured us impressionable youth into our great hobby.  But, which one series has the best overall collection of covers?  For me one of the top ones is series 2 of Ghost Rider, just tons of great covers:

It's surprisingly hard to think of too many series that had *consistently* great covers. Probably stems from the journeyman nature of the business... artists were constantly being rotated through lots of different titles. (And from the publishers' standpoint, if an artist feels like they 'belong' to a title, they're gonna want more money!)

With that said, Planet Comics (1940s-1950s) deserves a shout out. Easily 1/2 to 2/3rds of the run are great covers, and not too many clunkers.

How are you gonna post that Ghost Rider run and not include the covers to issues 15, 25, and 50?

Also, anything Alex Ross is pretty much a shoe-in for this list.

Amazing Spider-Man. Most of the 800 or how ever many are nice. Many iconic. Spawn has a nice long run. Silver surfer is fantastic but short. Basically any serious that has good artist for a long stretch. Ross Horn are pretty strong and steady. I haven't seen many lady death or notti nice covers I didn't like. Vamperella especially early ones are strong. Too many to add pics and everyone has seen these covers hundreds of times.

My daughter is a huge fan. I hope they finish the series.
