The next item offered is by the following creator.  I dismissed him early on as some American manga wannabe artist.  Once I read his elseworlds Batman with the fake dracula teeth  (It's awesome) I was hooked.  The next item is a duplicate (seeing a pattern).  The picture below is hanging in my comic room.

Menz Insana  - Written by Christopher Fowler. Painted art and cover by John Bolton.

1997 (Vertigo) He's part Jack the Ripper, part Mad Hatter and part Mary Poppins. She's a sensual cross between Barbarella and a Vargas Girl. Together they exist on the Mental Plane--a riotous and colorful parallel reality where the minds of the mentally-fractured linger after a collapse. Through a series of interlinked short-stories from black comedy and sitcom satire to contemporary horror, this visually stunning, fully painted one-shot explores the bizarre madness of the Mental Plane, as well as Menz's unpredictable exploits on Earth.

NM for $7.00  $5.00  Don't normally go for artist over writer but Bolton is awesome.

I met Mignola when Hellboy first came out as DH legend title.  He was just some dude in a denim jacket walking around a con in NY.  He signed my copy of the first issue of the limited series and an ashcan.  Seemed nice enough but he wasn't Hollywood Mignola yet.

So for those of you that long for the days of the old Warren mags you should check out the new Warrant mags.  You'll see a lot of familiar names and the format is very similar to the books of yore.  I thought these we reprints initially so I took a long time to jump on.  All the books here are new but were damaged in shipping or production.  They're definitely getting tougher to get and more pricey.  So here we go....

If you dig horror comics and you're not reading Something is Killing the Children well then shame on you!!!  It's well written and the art is solid for the story.  Here's a copy of the spin off, also a solid read.

John Carpenter's Asylum  issues 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 NM $10.00 $7.00

Based on a story by John Carpenter. Adapted by Bruce Jones. Art by Leonardo Manco. There's a war coming to the City of Angels. In the tunnels and dark alleys of the city, demons lurk... and Lucifer bides his time. One man knows and sees the truth. Father Daniel Beckett has seen demons and he's spoken to the Devil, but he can't say the same about God or his angels.

If I have the missing issues I'll throw them in.
