While I love love LOVE the enthusiasm for this fun event, I'll warn against placeholder posts.  Once I start updating, I'll be going in order on this thread.  Going back an updating a previous post is a surefire way to have your offering get missed.  It has happened before.

X-force 1s, Youngblood 1s, among other other hard to find
comics from the 80s, 90s and 2000s such as Arion of Atlantis
Arak Son of Thunder, or Excalibur issues. Anything I can shove
in a medium flat rate box. All cover shipping as well in US. Canucks
all cover $15 in shipping you get the rest.
No international shipment other than Canada.

Last year, you will have no reason to remember I decided I could not bear to part with any actual book in my childhood comic collection - even the ratty ones.  Or more accurately, I couldn't bear to part with anything that would have made a decent prize.  So I kind of went with the cop out option of Gift Certificate.  (I do not mean to insult anyone else offering a Gift Certificate).  The big question for me then this year was, is this going to be the year I part with something I actually like?  

Ladies and Gentlemen, is it not.

 

Instead, I'm bumping the amount of money I'm putting up!  

This year:  $150.00  cold hard cash.  (An Amazon Certificate, Paypal transfer, or basically however you want it)

I'm thinking of naming this prize, Axelrod's Materialistic Weasel Award.  And then I'm thinking I can keep doing this and bumping the payout every year until it gets picked first (or I go broke).  

We'll see how that pans out.  But for now:

Shortly after the last one I made a new box for this year, and it's been waiting all this time.  Even I don't remember what is in it at this point, so it's a true mystery, but: 

I believe there was some bronze, some copper, some TPBs, AND one CGC graded Copper book with a custom label. 

But, and this is important, it's the least valuable CGC graded book ever made.  No, really.  Plan accordingly.
