PGM: The New Mutants 98 9.6 - Worth a crack and re submission? 2 2

Hello gang,

I have a number of books I am considering cracking, cleaning and pressing and regrading.

First up, I am considering cracking and resending in my TNM #98 ( ya the Deadpool issue). The book as you can see is already graded as a 9.6. I purchased it this way ages ago before the boom. I am thinking of sending it in, cleaning and press and seeing where it lands. I know...I know...it's a spoon shoot but still was wondering what the opinions were here.

Maybe I am tempting fate. Anyway, thoughts? Thanks!

I honestly think it just depends on how the grader feels that day. I could see this getting a 9.8 but also a 9.4. If it were me, I wouldn’t crack it.

To get a 9.8 would require a large amount of luck. Sure it could happen but very low odds it will.  ow/w of a HUGE population Copper Age book in itself is reason enough to not resubmitting.   Sometimes one simply must "let it go".

I myself got back a book recently WWBN15 9.6 that I feel with a quality 3rd party press will be a 9.8. However pages are OW. So I took the "let it go" advice.

I wouldn't waste the money resubmitting and expecting anything higher.
