Then you shipped yourself to CGC via walkthrough? and they charge 3% of FMV but how is the FMV determined? For example here you got a 4.0, does CGC charge you FMV of 4.0 based on price guide or do you estimate the price and they see if reasonable? I'm not really sure what grade he went with but felt like his price was fair. I had him ship it in for me as well because he has the higher membership with a discount. Total it was about $350 and the grading alone from cgc was around 250 dollars so with shipping with insurance, cleaning/pressing/whitening, packing and grading I felt like that was pretty fair for this book.
