Two questions about Marc jewelers inserts 0

How does CGC check for Mark jewelers inserts removed from one comic and put it into another? Is there any way to tell for certain that it was originally produced with the insert?

 

Second question is are there any plans to separate them in the census as a variant? this would be extremely helpful to know the level of scarcity that exist in different grades. I know CGC separates Canadian price variants which is very helpful, i’m hoping they will do the same with Mark jewelers inserts.

Thank you for your questions. Each book that has a Mark Jewelers insert is reviewed by multiple graders. They will then come together to form the final designation the book will receive. This is true for the certification of any of the specific variants of books. We do not post how our graders make these certifications at this time.
