3.  Get my Batman 1 graded

4.  Add a few Betty and Veronica's to the collection

5.  Pick up a nice Timely

To pick up the odd classic PCH book. I have a list of about thirty odd books I would like, so even to get as many as half a dozen over the year would be a good result for me.

1, Hope to buy a Tec 32 and/or Tec 33 in mid grade

2. Buy a TMNT 1

3. Buy some of that modern garbage stuff that sells for "stupid, crazy, high on drugs" type money I can't recall the titles at this hour. Lou Fine will help me with this one.

If 2 or 3 happen, please shoot me. Burn the books.

More pedigree copies, got 3 Promise books this year so got that wish as pedigree copies were on my goal list for last year's goal list.

Hopefully a nice Church book 

Also a high grade cgc slabbed Looney Tunes 133 (Tatoo parlor cover). Probably only such themed comic cover of that era (especially for funny animal)?

I plan to keep picking away at the few PCH books I need. Also pecking away at  the EC pre-trend runs (especially the Romance books). Hope to get pretty close to the Schomburg Nedors I still need. Through with paying nosebleed prices so my choices will be limited. I still want to swim in the pool but it will definitely be the shallow end.

Non comic wise, hoping a nice vintage Gretch electric guitar comes my way. My wife always rolls her eyes and asks me if I really need another guitar or more comics but she knows how much a part of life they are to me. She is a real keeper…

I'm not sure, but I'd bet a nickle that Yankee Comics #6 is the only one featuring a beauty parlor for tattoos!

Clue Comics #7 shows a baddie holding what I think is a tattooing needle.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some second-tier funny-animal book out there with a tattoo-parlor cover (especially when you consider the way comic publishers back then used to borrow one another's ideas).

I don't think I have any to contribute—those images are from the Lone Star / My Comic Shop site—but now my curiosity has been piqued.

There was only one book I was hoping to track down next year but one showed on eBay yesterday so I jumped on it 

Next year, I guess I'll be more open to what books find me.

This year I've been all about MLJs, LB Coles and those darned Frazetta Famous Funnies. But lately I've been jonesing for a nice low-grade Batman or two in the #2-12 range. They always used to be fairly common, but I'm amazed how relatively few are for sale given how the prices have skyrocketed. I think with patience it will be doable....? We'll see.

Indeed. Seems like whatever I bid, I’m outbid. Yes, there are times I know I could bid more, but I do sometimes bid VERY strong and still lose. It’s just getting to the point where I have better things to do with my money.
