Famous Monsters of Filmland 1 The legendary first issue of the James Warren/Forrest J. Ackerman monster mag that, together with Shock Theater on TV, created a monster craze in the late fifties. Great photos and articles about Karloff, Lugosi and the other classic monsters. Great essay by Robert Bloch.
