Book Guy
WOW! Great Stuff! I've never seen any of them. Lots of True Crime. Was that typical of Canadian Pulps? I loved the CRACKED DETECTIVE and HISTOIRE! Mystery Fiction Canadian Pulps must be quite rare. Wow again!
Robot Man
Very cool group of mags that are seldom seen in the lower 48. My favorite is the Histoires de Detectives. Might be Mexican or Spanish though. Never seen any of them. I have only this Canadian pulp. OtherEric, Randall Dowling and comicjack

This has the same look and feel as the "Ladies of the Underworld" pulp you posted in the other thread. Both look like 1930s pulps. You always find the best, most obscure books, sir! As a collector of the Crime/Detective mags from the late 40s and early 50s, this is a real treat to see some of these. detective35
Just picked this one up. I thought initially that there was only one Canadian pulp that featured the Green Ghost after the US title was cancelled (Thrilling mystery that I posted above). However I was wrong when I came across this one that also features that green ghost! GACollectibles, Pat Calhoun, OtherEric and 1 other

Darwination
What a wild thread. I recognize some of the American counterparts, but, geez, I never even realized there were so many Canadian editions, many wonderfully hideous with some really great ones sprinkled in. I have seen a few issues of Paree and that Paris Nights c1950 a number times around the girlie pulps, the second issue is fairly common, so it must have sold pretty well. My faves: OtherEric

Canadian True Crime magazines will be very similar to US True Crime magazines. Canadian pulps are usually Canadian editions of US Pulps. Some few are regular pulps, generally with unknown authors. Yes, Canadian magazines are quite scarce.
